Implementing Dependent or Cascading Dropdown

In this video we will understand how to implement the Dependent Dropdown or Cascading/Nested dropdown using values from Dynamic option or Reference fields values.

This type of dropdowns are very much needed when you want to control the values of the child dropdown depending on what is being selected in the parent dropdown.

For example: Country/City dropdown, where you want to show the list of cities in the dropdown depending on which country is being selected.

The Implementing Dependent or Cascading Dropdown feature in DrapCode allows users to create dropdown menus where the options in one field are dependent on the selection made in another. This functionality enhances the user experience by displaying relevant choices based on prior selections, making forms more dynamic and intuitive. It's especially useful for creating multi-step forms and filtering options in complex applications.
