Default Collection Fields

This video will help understand all about the default collection fields. These are fields which are generated when you store your data/record(s) in DrapCode so you do have to create them explicitly.

Default Collection Fields in DrapCode are pre-defined fields that are automatically added to every collection you create. These typically include fields like createdAt, updatedAt, createdBy, and updatedBy, which help track changes and manage records more efficiently across your app. These fields streamline the process of building dynamic workflows by reducing the need for manual field creation and maintaining consistency throughout your database.

Understanding these default fields is especially helpful when you're working on UI design and data handling in tandem. When you're ready to bring these data structures to life visually, consider exploring Designing with Bootstrap Components to create responsive and well-structured layouts within DrapCode.
