Today we will not only update you with newly added features in our no code builder, but also share some upcoming features that our development team is currently working on. So get ready to intake our biweekly pill of updates. We have also listed some interesting blogs related to no code/low code world. Don't forget to check them!!!
Let's get started:
What's New?
New features, latest developments & Updates!
AWS Lambda Function for Complex Logic
We support AWS Lambda!! AWS Lambda allows you to write any kind of complex logic or calculation. Once you have created a complex logic, you can easily transfer data from DrapCode and run those calculations or logic on it. You can also process the output and store it in DrapCode to use it further as needed. So, now, any kind of complexity can be handled on DrapCode.
Previously we provided only a simple login/sign-up function where user authentication was managed at DrapCode only. But now you can even manage the user authentication on Firebase. Firebase is a popular database and many of you want to create your projects on it. So now you can create your app with its data and authentication on Firebase. In short, you can use Firebase as the back-end and build the front-end of your web app on DrapCode.
We have added a Tenant Template Dashboard that can be accessed via the tenant template dashboard page after installing the Multi-Tenant SAAS Plugin. This feature will allow the logged-in Tenant User to override the predefined template content. So, now if any user with a specific Tenant Id tries to click the forgot password button, then the tenant template with the overridden content will be sent instead of a generic template from the system.
We have updated External APIs! Previously we provided only Get and Post request types, but now we have new request types, i.e. PATCH, PUT & DELETE. You can use PUT and PATCH for creating an external API for updating records or items in your database. And as the name suggests, use the DELETE request type for deleting records from the database.
To help you understand different features and functionalities, in every newsletter we share these educational video tutorials. This particular video tutorial explains how to set any page as a default landing page while building a web app on DrapCode. It will allow you to create a workflow in which whenever someone visits your main URL, for instance, www.example.com, then they will see the content of this page only.
Learn How to Create List & Details Pages for Collection Data
You can easily create pages and sub-pages (or details pages) in DrapCode. This video tutorial focuses on teaching how to create a listing page of collection items or records. And then shows how you can link each item/record in the list to a detail or view page and display the data of each record separately on a page. Cool isn't it?
